I had a fantastic experience at Serene Palace Hotel. The welcome drink and fresh fruit upon arrival were such a lovely touch. The staff, especially Allan, were incredibly attentive, helping us with recommendations for exploring Hue's attractions and even arranging a private minibus for a day trip to Hoi An. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with Vietnamese accents. The breakfast offered a delightful variety, including fresh Vietnamese influences that enhanced my mornings. However, I found the shower setup quite inconvenient since it lacked a curtain, causing water to flood the bathroom. Additionally, although I enjoyed the quiet location tucked away from the bustling streets, some noise seeped in at night, which was a bit bothersome. Nonetheless, the outstanding service made up for it. I really appreciated the staff's commitment to hospitality.

Highly affordable rooms with ample comfort and cleanliness.
During my stay, I was incredibly frustrated with the lack of a proper shower setup. holding the shower head is not only inconvenient but also left the entire bathroom drenched after each use. The air conditioning was positioned directly in front of the bed, making it impossible to use at night, which was exacerbated by the discomfort of an overly firm mattress. Additionally, the noise from the nearby streets was more disruptive than I anticipated, especially during the night, affecting my overall sleep quality.

What you’ll love and hate
Genuinely friendly staff who go above and beyond to assist, along with an extensive breakfast buffet made my mornings delightful.
The location is a bit tricky to find down a narrow alley, which can be off-putting when arriving.

Good air conditioning kept the room comfortable after a hot day. Breakfast had solid variety, making mornings easy and enjoyable.
The shower showed some quirks. it cools down after about five minutes, which can be tricky for couples looking for a relaxing experience. Additionally, cleanliness around the breakfast dish area was subpar, with utensils being stored at ground level, making them less appealing to use.
